Two Dogs Lost, Another Found in Croydon

A family is missing a female yellow lab, while a pit bull was found on River Road in Croydon.

The Facebook page Croydon Town Watch has asked its fans to be on the lookout for a missing yellow labrador that has been missing since Feb. 23 and a bull dog that has been gone since. The nine month-old lab is named Dakota and has been sighted near the SEPTA train station on Cedar Ave. and Bristol Pike. Leave a comment below or at the Croydon Town Watch Facebook page if you see the dog. If anybody has information about the bull dog, Bacon, contact Lisa at (215) 826-1593. Police: Man Threatens to Kill Woman in Croydon

A 65-year-old man was placed under arrest in the Croydon section of Bristol Township.

A 65-year-old New York City man was charged with terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another and harassment after an incident at the Croydon Laundromat on Route 13 (Bristol Pike). Bristol Township police responded to the laundromat on Monday, Feb. 11 after they received a harassment call at 10:14 p.m, court records show. The man arrived and confronted an employee who owes him money and told her, "If I don't get my money, I am going to kill you and make you lose your job," according to an affidavit. The victim told investigators her friend witnessed the threats. Authorities cited the same man two days prior for harassment related on an incident which happened on Saturday, Feb. 2. Emergency Team to Meet at Croydon School

Officials say not to be alarmed by a large number of emergency vehicles at Mary Devine Elementary School on Tuesday morning.

Bristol Township School District officials are asking parents and residents not to be alarmed Tuesday morning if they see a large amount of emergency vehicles outside Mary Devine Elementary School in Croydon. The school is set to be the site of the Bucks County Emergency Management Team's regular meeting. "As part of the School District's Safety and Emergency Plan, members of our administration meet regularly with County representatives to review safety procedures," a statement read. Recently, Walt Disney Elementary School in Falls Township was used by Tullytown police as the site of a weekend active shooter training drill.

Police: Woman Used Stolen Credit Card

Law enforcement are seeking a white female who was seen on video surveillance allegedly using a credit card that authorities said had been stolen during an armed robbery.

Police in Montgomery County are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who they say was caught on video surveillance in Lower Bucks County on several occasions using a credit card that had been stolen earlier this month during an armed robbery. The white female, who appears to be wearing glasses in an image shared by Horsham Township police, allegedly used the stolen credit card at a number of businesses and a bank in the areas of Bensalem, Bristol, Croydon and Morrisville. Bucks County's Recorder of Deeds staff will be available in Croydon to issue Veterans ID cards next week. Interested veterans can go to the Croydon VFW, 901 Bellevue Avenue, on Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 4 - 8 p.m. with their original DD-214 form for the Recorder of Deeds staff to issue cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209. To date, the Recorders of Deeds office has processed 5,875 ID cards. Currently, over 500 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day. Bristol Township Police made three warrant arrests between January 7 and 8.

Bristol Township Police recently made two warrant arrests and investigated a theft from a vehicle. Warrant On Jan. 7, 2013 at about 10:44 p.m. on the 3000 block of Veterans Hwy. a traffic stop was conducted. As a result of this stop, a 36-year-old female from Levittown was arrested on a Bucks County Sheriff’s warrant. Sunday Night Croydon Marina Fire Called 'Suspicious'

A fire that destroyed two boats in the Croydon section of Bristol Township is being investigated as suspicious, officials say.

Authorities plan to resume their investigation into what caused two boats to catch fire at a Croydon marina late Sunday night. Crews from the Croydon, Union and Cornwalls fire companies were dispatched to the Snug Harbor Marina on the Neshaminy Creek for a report of flames at around 11:15 p.m., Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said. Officials found the two dry-docked boats ablaze. Special firefighting foam was used to extinguish the fire which was exacerbated by the vessels' fuel, Dippolito said. The fire marshal said the cause of the fire is suspicious, but an investigation can not be completed until foam used to fight the fire dissipates. Missing Elderly Woman Found Dead in Delaware River [Updated]

Crews from Bensalem, Bristol and Lower Southampton searched the Neshaminy Creek and Delaware River for a 73-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday night.

Thursday, 2:01 p.m.: Authorities confirm to Patch that Jean Carson's body was found in the Delaware River near the Burlington-Bristol Bridge in New Jersey. The 73-year-old's body was discovered near the bridge and state police crews removed it from the water, a bridge employee said. Crews removed the body just less than 5 miles from where she disappeared late Wednesday night in the 900 block Haunted Lane in Bensalem. Fundraiser Set to Help Family of Popular Waitress Killed in Wreck

Patrons at the Radcliffe Cafe always saw Stacy Byrne, who died last weekend, with a smile on her face.

A fundraiser has been set to help the family of a lifelong area resident who was killed in a fatal car wreck last weekend. The Primo Hoagie shop on Oxford Valley Road in the Langhorne section of Falls will be donating 10 percent of its profits on Monday, Dec. 10 to the family of 32-year-old mother of two Stacy Byrne. The Croydon resident was known for always having a smile on her face as she served customers at the Radcliffe Cafe in Bristol Borough where she was employed. The 32-year-old was killed and her husband, Ian, hurt when a car struck her Chevrolet Cavalier at an intersection in Silverdale Borough in Upper Bucks County last Saturday night.
