Drug Possession Charges Pending After Traffic Stop

Pennsylvania State Police initiated a traffic stop where the driver was found with possible drugs and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Pennsylvania State Police initiated a traffic stop in Bensalem where the driver driver was found with possible drugs and paraphernalia, according to police reports. A 30-year-old Levittown woman was pulled over for a traffic violation on Monday at 10:38 a.m., a report from the state police said. The traffic stop took place on I-95 South just past mile marker 33 in Bensalem. After further investigation, Trooper Preston M. Gray found the driver of the vehicle to be "in possession of a green leafy substance, suspected to marijuana," the report said. Drug paraphernalia was also found. Charges are being filed in district court, according to the report.

New York City Man Arrested by Narcotics Cops

A 27-year-old alleged to be selling drugs was arrested Sunday by cops in Tullytown.

A New York City man after he sold undercover narcotics officers an ounce of cocaine, police said. Wilson Mateo, 27, of New York City, was arrested Sunday morning at the Levittown SEPTA Station in Tullytown, according to court documents and police. The cocaine he had was valued at $2,000 on the street, police said. Mateo was taken into custody without incident, officials stated. The 27-year-old was charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substance, criminal use of communication facility and dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, court records show. District Judge Mark Duple arraigned Mateo. He remains in county jail on in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.

State Police Make Drunk Driving, Drug Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between May 30 and June 2, Trevose troopers made the following arrests: On May 30 at 4:25 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 southbound at exit 40 in Bristol Township. The driver, Alan Waserstrom, 34, of Philadelphia, was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. He was arrested for DUI and possession. Trooper Lee Nolan investigated the incident. On May 31 at 12:45 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at exit 37.9 in Bensalem. Police searched the vehicle and located several bundles of suspected heroin. The driver, Michael J. Schultz, 32, of Levittown, was arrested for manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned before Judge Joseph …

3 Bristol Men Sentenced In State-Wide 'Operation Black Widow'

Three men arrested last April for their role in a statewide cocaine and heroin ring sentenced to state prison.

  Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly announced three Bristol Township men, arrested in April 2011 as part of an ongoing investigation known as "Operation Black Widow," pled guilty and were sentenced to state prison. On March 16, Kelly said Anthony Gary, Brian Ballard and Victor Ballard pled guilty on multiple counts of corrupt organizations, possession with the intent to deliver, conspiracy and criminal use of a communication facility. Gary was sentenced to eight to 16 years in state prison, Victor Ballard was sentenced to seven and one-half to 15 years in state prison and Brian Ballard is awaiting sentencing. Additionally, two lower level co-defendants, Darryl Pace and Aaron Smith also entered guilty pleas. Pace was sentenced to …

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police station in Trevose. It does not imply conviction.

Between Jan. 28 and Feb. 2, Trevose troopers investigated the following incidents: On Jan. 28 at 1:15 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on I-95 northbound at Exit 44 in Middletown. Police arrest David Bertino, 34, of Fairless Hills, and Richard Alpaugh, 21, of Bensalem. Both had active warrants from Philadelphia and Falls Township. A search of the vehicle yielded five baggies of suspected heroin, two needles and two empty baggies of suspected cocaine. They suspects were processed and released to Philadelphia and Falls Township police. Charges to be filed in district court. Trooper Daniel Onisick investigated the incident. Drug Arrests, Thefts Reported By Middletown Township Police

Drug-related arrests and thefts were among the reports in Tuesday’s Middletown Township police blotter. Police said Teresa Marie Flynn, 23, of Bensalem, and Matthew Robert Hammond, 21, of Tullytown, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. It happened at the Checkers on 1100 block of S. Woodbourne Road at 5:56 p.m. Saturday. Flynn was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriffs as a result of an outstanding warrant.    Langhorne resident Michael Ryan Deperro, 24, was arrested at the Langhorne Train Station on Bellevue Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Saturday for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.  Police said officers responding to a fight call on Tweed Road at 12:41 a.m. Monday …

Middletown Township police said several people are facing drug-related charges. Police said William Lewis Yates, Jr., 22, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. Kaelyn Patrice Burns, 20, of Warrington was also arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana. Both arrests happened after a suspicious vehicle investigation in the parking lot of the Foxwood Manor Apartments at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday. It was not immediately clear if these two arrests were related. Another suspicious vehicle investigation at the Wawa on Trenton Road at 4:37 a.m. on Sunday resulted in another arrest, police said. Teens Face Drug Charges

The Middletown Township police said they arrested three teenagers on drug charges. Police said an officer spotted the trio in a suspicious car on Circle Road at 3:50 a.m. Sunday. After investigating, police said two 18-year-olds, Joseph Aaron Niranonta and Ryan Joseph Rutter, and 19-year-old Daragh J. Chelak were arrested. All three men, from Levittown, face charges of a possession of a controlled substance.

Middletown Township police said an 18-year-old Langhorne man who was arrested faces drug charges. Police said officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call on Swift Road and the area of Luxembourg Corporate Center at 11:46 p.m. Sunday. Connor Matthew Eckelmeyer, 18, was charged with possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia, along with trespassing. Two others, 18-year-old David Pfeilsticker, of Langhorne, and a 17-year-old boy, were also cited for trespassing.
