Eagles fans have had much to complain about this season. As the Birds head into their bye week at 3-3, many are calling for some heads to roll. Andy Reid seems to have taken the call to heart. According to multiple reports, the Eagles fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo Tuesday morning and named secondary coach Todd Bowles as the new coordinator. "I want to make it clear that I have nothing but the ultimate respect for Juan Castillo as a coach and as a person," Reid said in a statement released by the Eagles. The oldest son of Philadelphia Eagles Coach Andy Reid was found dead this morning in a dorm room at Lehigh University, where the team has summer training camp. Garrett Reid, 29, was found in his bed at the Sayre Park dorms following a struggle of almost 10 years with drug addiction and drug dealing. Reid was helping at camp with players' stength training and conditioning. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made the announcement to reporters after the team's walk-through Sunday morning: "It is a tough morning for all of us in the Eagles family. It’s been 19 years since the Eagles Nest Tavern was born and it’s still a place were Philadelphia Eagles fans young and old flock to watch games. Owner Mary Ellen Finley described her business, when it first opened, as the first-of-its-kind sports bar in Levittown. “We wanted to be a place where people could enjoy sports,” Finley said. Seven months shy of the Eagles’ trip to the 2004 Super Bowl, Finley’s father and part owner of the tavern, passed away. Finley said it was a bittersweet time. “It was tough to get through without him,” Finley said.
