Fire Vehicles Hit Sunday Night
A car hit two fire vehicles on Sunday evening. No firefighters were seriously hurt.
A man driving a black Pontiac struck two fire trucks in Bensalem Sunday evening. According to internet posts, the black car struck utility and engine trucks belonging to William Penn and Penndel fire companies. PhillyBurbs.com reports the Penndel fire engine was attempting to block the car from fleeing at the intersection of Bensalem Boulevard and Hulmeville Road. Just prior, the car struck the William Penn Fire Co.'s utility truck. Police told PhillyBurbs the driver of the car revved his engine before intentionally slamming into the truck.
