The Bensalem High School basketball team defeated Harry S. Truman 71-50 Tuesday night. According to PhillyBurbs, the Owls had a fourth quarter surge at home that turned the close game into a blow out of the Tigers. The baseball team hosted Holy Ghost and the Softball team played William Tennent and the Boy's Lax team also played in a Sports Block Party on Friday.

With 1:37 to go in the game, Molly Phillips and Stephanie Gray checked out for the final time as Falcons. Phillips and Gray talked about their experiences with the orange and black. "Beating Neshaminy was definitely a highlight of the season. They have a bright future. I'm excited for them," Gray said. "I saw Stephanie crying and I started crying," Phillips said. Senior Sean Edmondson Breaks School Record
The Truman fan base came to the Tiger's den not just hoping to see their Tiger's beat Tennent in a Suburban 1 match, but to also see senior Sean Edmondson break the school record for most wins in school history. That school record stood at 123 and was held by former stand out Chad Bailey. Fans were not disappointed on both counts during the matchup Wedesday night. Edmondson, wrestling in the 135-pound weight class only needed 27 seconds to pin his opponent from Tennent. As soon as the referee gave the pinned sign, the den erupted louder than a waking bear at the end of his hibernation period. PHS choral group extends a special invitation to the Pennsbury community.
The Pennsbury High School choral group extends a special invitation to the Pennsbury community. James Moyer, the coordinator of choral music for Pennsbury kindergarten through 12 grades, said the PHS Concert Choir and Women's Ensemble will perform a free concert. The performance will take place in Keller Hall at PHS West at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The program is set to include excerpts from Requiem K. 626 by W. A. Mozart, Decision by Debra Scroggins, Travelling Song by Mikhail Glinka, Be Still by Meuryn Hughes, Tafellied op. 93b by Johannes Brahms, Walk Him Up the Stairs (from the Broadway show Purlie), Magnificat (excerpts) by Nicolai Porpora and more.
