The Dunkin' Donuts in Langhorne and Lower Southampton were burglarized early Thursday morning.
Lower Southampton police are looking for two men who they say stole money from the Dunkin' Donuts on Bustleton Pike early Thursday. The suspects may be connected to a similar incident in Langhorne. Store employees called police at around 5:15 a.m. to report the newly-opened location had been burglarized, officials said. The staff was arriving to open for the day, according to a police report. Police said the suspects gained access to a locked cabinet and snatched $1,900. They also pried open cash registers and got $450. It was also noted that a locked cart with paperwork and additional cash inside was ransacked. Several accidents were reported around Lower Bucks County during Monday night's small snow system.
A fast-moving winter weather system may be to blame fore several accidents on numerous local roads Monday evening. Snow started to fall around the region shortly after dark in Bucks County and ended up dropping an inch in Feasterville, according to the National Weather Service’s Mount Holly, N.J. office. With the snow came several vehicle crashes. Just after 8 p.m., crews responded to South Flowers Mill Road and East Lincoln Highway in Middletown where a van was reported to have flipped on its side. Three people needed the assistance of fire crews from Penndel to get free, according to an alert from the Breaking News Network and emergency scanner traffic. Middletown Township Police are investigating a theft from the Langhorne T-Mobile.
The Middletown Township Police are investigating the following incident: On Jan. 16 at about 3:49 p.m., a male subject stole two Galaxy Note Pads from the T-Mobile on E. Lincoln Highway in Langhorne. The subject fled in a burgundy-colored Hyundai Sonata. The note pads are valued at $700 each. The preceding information was provided by the Middletown Township Police Department. The Middletown Township Police are investigating the following incidents: Vehicle Theft Sometime overnight Jan. 13 on the 2100 block of E. Lincoln Hwy, Levittown, a 2007 Mercedes Benz C280 was taken from a common parking lot. Criminal Mischief/Attempted Theft Sometime between Jan. 13 and 15 on the 1100 block of Wheeler Way, Langhorne, the rear fence of an electrical supply company was cut. Two people were recently caught trying to steal from retailers in the Oxford Valley Mall.
