Mountain Bike Stolen, Police Say

Middletown Township police report thefts from Redner's and Target.

A 31-year-old Feasterville woman was cited for retail theft, according to Middletown Township police. Items taken from the Redner's Warehouse Market on East Lincoln Highway totaled $55, police said.

Airsoft Rifles, Wii System Stolen in Burglary

A list of recent incidents that Middletown Township police reported.

Theft An 20-inch Huffy bicycle was taken overnight from Towns Road in Levittown. The bike is orange and worth $90. Assault A 44-year-old Langhorne woman was arrested at 12:30 a.m. for a simple assault that happened on Adam Avenue. DUI A 20-year-old Levittown woman was arrested for drunk driving on Fairway Drive just before 2 a.m. Burglary A home in the 1400 block of Oxford Valley Road in Levittown broken into through an unlocked side window. A window screen was cut and two airsoft rifles and a Wii gaming system were reported missing. Police valued the theft at $500. Retail Theft A 54-year-old Levittown woman was arrested at 2:30 p.m. for theft of merchandise and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Levittown Giant. The woman tried to …

Flim-Flam Scam, Thefts Reported in Middletown

A list of recent incidents that Middletown Township police reported.

Retail Theft A 34-year-old Bensalem woman was cited for the theft of assorted merchandise from the Giant Food Store on New Falls Road. DUI A 55-year-old Levittown man was arrested for DUI on Four Leaf Road at 2:19 p.m. Flim Flam A business in the 1300 block of East Lincoln Highway fell victim to a flim-flam scam. A 6-foot-tall white man between the ages of 30 and 40 requested change for a $50 bill. He then asked for the bill back and left. Police reported that the cashier was left $50 short. Theft From Vehicle An unlocked 2010 Honda was entered in the parking lot of the Park Plaza Shopping Center in Levittown between 12:30 and 12:30 p.m. The victim reported a purse containing cash, sunglasses and prescription medication was stolen. Police: Drunk Father Fires Gun After Fight with Son

A bizarre weekend incident in Levittown involved three shots fired in Colbolt Ridge.

A alleged wild night led to shots being fired over the weekend in Levittown. Francis Zydzik, 56, of Circle Road in the Levittown section of Middletown, is charged with felony aggravated assault charges and several misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and simple assault, according to a docket sheet. The incident is alleged to have started Saturday at about 10 p.m. with a son picking his intoxicated father up from bar and ended with three shots fired at from a handgun. Zydzik’s son picked his father up at Miller’s Ale House on East Lincoln Highway Saturday evening. His father was out earlier in the evening at a concert with family in Philadephia, court documents state. A police complaint mentions the 56-year-old left after getting “…

Middletown PD Search for Missing Person

Middletown Township Police are searching for a man who went missing Jan. 17.

Middletown Township Police are searching for David High who went missing from his home on Durham Road in Penndel Jan. 17. According to police, he is a white male, 6'1", 210 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. A picture of High is attached to this article as a PDF. High left his home without his wallet, credit cards and cell phone. He takes various medications, include those to treat a diabetic condition -- it's unknown if he had his medicine with him. He has been entered into the FBI's NCIC database as an endangered missing person. He has been known to frequent the Bristol Borough and Tullytown area. Two Galaxy Note Pads Stolen from Langhorne T-Mobile

Middletown Township Police are investigating a theft from the Langhorne T-Mobile.

The Middletown Township Police are investigating the following incident: On Jan. 16 at about 3:49 p.m., a male subject stole two Galaxy Note Pads from the T-Mobile on E. Lincoln Highway in Langhorne. The subject fled in a burgundy-colored Hyundai Sonata. The note pads are valued at $700 each. Mercedes Benz Stolen From Levittown Parking Lot

The Middletown Township Police are investigating a few recent incidents.

The Middletown Township Police are investigating the following incidents: Vehicle Theft Sometime overnight Jan. 13 on the 2100 block of E. Lincoln Hwy, Levittown, a 2007 Mercedes Benz C280 was taken from a common parking lot.  Criminal Mischief/Attempted Theft Sometime between Jan. 13 and 15 on the 1100 block of Wheeler Way, Langhorne, the rear fence of an electrical supply company was cut. Two Caught Stealing at Oxford Valley Mall

Two people were recently caught trying to steal from retailers in the Oxford Valley Mall.

The Middletown Township Police Department reported the following incidents: Retail Theft A 14-year-old male will be petitioned to juvenile court for retail theft of $265 worth of clothing from the Oxford Valley Mall Hollister store on Jan. 12 at about 4:24 p.m. Retail Theft A 31-year-old Levittown woman was arrested for retail theft of about $692 worth of merchandise from the Oxford Valley Mall Macy's on Jan. 12 at about 6 p.m. Retail Theft A 21-year-old Newtown man was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft of $99 worth of merchandise from the Langhorne Target on Jan. 13 at about 7:46 p.m. Theft from Vehicle Sometime overnight, an unlocked 2008 Ford Edge on Canal Rd., Levittown, was entered and earrings, an Ipod, prescription …

NHS to Offer Students Support Following Recent Losses

Following the recent deaths of current and former Neshaminy High School students, the school will be offering additional support to students.

Since Jan. 1, the Neshaminy community has experienced a great deal of loss. Three young men, all current and former Neshaminy High School students, lost their lives. Because of that, Neshaminy High School will be offering additional support to its students. School officials have also listed a variety of resources for the community for 24/7 and immediate assistance.
