Will Ellen DeGeneres Attend Pennsbury's Prom?

If the students of Pennsbury High School get their wish, Ellen DeGeneres will attend their prom on Saturday, May 18.

Pennsbury High School's Senior Prom has been heralded as the "best prom in America" by Reader's Digest, and this year the students hope to make it even better by having Ellen DeGeneres in attendance. The students have made a video and started the Twitter hastag #EllenToPennsburyProm in hopes to gain the attention of the Emmy-winning talk-show host and comedian. They want DeGeneres to attend the prom, which will be held on Saturday, May 18 at the high school. "This year, we want our prom to be the best prom to date," the post said. "If we are able to get Ellen Degeneres attention, she will hopefully be able to bring a musical guest." Before all the magic happens students, faculty and volunteers set up decorations Friday evening.

Pennsbury High School's 2012 Prom: Fantasy Worlds of Magic and Heroes is set to highlight every imaginable fantasy character, hero, and superhero during Saturday's prom.  But before all the magic happens students, faculty and volunteers set up decorations Friday evening, some staying well into early Saturday morning to make sure everything was in perfect order before heading to the "Nation's Best" high school prom.   While the actual prom is for PHS students and their escorts only, the public and community is invited to share in the experience of what makes the prom so special during Saturday's public walk through from 12 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. "Students, parents, teachers, and even community members... keep coming back every year to be a part …

Pennsbury Prom Prep Kicks Into High Gear In Final Days

Prom Faculty Advisor Tony Napoli talks "Fantasy Worlds Of Magic And Heroes" -- this year's theme of Pennsbury High School's Prom on May 19.

Pennsbury High School's annual prom boasting Fantasy Worlds Of Magic And Heroes is in its final days of preparation.  Art Department Chair and Faculty Prom Advisor Tony Napoli explained this year's student-picked prom theme to Levittown Patch. "It is a broad topic which allows for the creation of murals and 3-D artwork containing worlds, imagination and heroes," Napoli said. Alice In Wonderland, Batman, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, Avatar and other imaginary characters were pulled from the pages of fiction for a pseudo-reality night of glitz and glamour come Saturday, May 19. 'Fantasy Worlds Of Magic And Heroes' To Take Over PHS

Pennsbury High School's annual prom extravaganza is exactly one month away!

  The 2012-themed Fantasy Worlds of Magic and Heroes prom promises to yield another spectacular transformation of Pennsbury High School in just four more weeks. PHS annual prom was once touted as Reader's Digest No. 1 prom in America and each year students, faculty, parents and volunteers pitch in to help top previous year's efforts.  Check out Levittown Patch's coverage of last year's prom. PHS faculty Art Department Chairman Tony Napoli and PHS art teacher Curtis May are once again taking the helm as this year's advisors.
