Bristol Township police confirmed reports from readers on the Levittown Patch Facebook page that a store had been robbed on Haines Road on Friday. Reported to be armed, the robber hit the Nu-Way Pharmacy and was last seen behind the nearby 7-Eleven. James Buchanan and John Fitch elementary schools were placed on lockdown as officers searched for the suspect. The incident comes just days after the robbery of the Windsor Pharmacy earlier this week. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.

The Middletown Police Department has released photos taken from video surveillance footage from last week's robbery of the 7-Eleven store located on New Falls Road and Veterans Highway. On the morning of Feb. 28, a man walked into the store, told the clerk he had a gun and would shoot him, but he did not display a weapon. The suspect left the scene with a small amount of money, according to police. The individual was described by police as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants. Bristol Borough police are looking for a man who stole a woman's purse in the Walmart in Bristol Borough.
Police in Bristol Borough are looking for a man who knocked a woman to the ground and stole her purse Monday night. The strong-arm robbery occurred at the Walmart on Commerce Circle at 7:31 p.m., police said. A suspect knocked the female victim to the ground and stole her purse. He then fled toward Veterans Highway (Route 431) through the Bristol Cemetery, police said. The suspect is described by officials as being a stocky black male between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7. Middletown police are looking for a couple who may have been the victims of a strong-armed robbery attempt.
Police are looking for a couple who witnesses say are the victims of a strong-armed robbery attempt Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown. "Witnesses reported seeing three male subjects approach a couple in the parking lot of the mall and attempt to pull a cellular telephone from the hands of a male victim," police said. The suspects were unable to get the phone from the man. According to authorities, the three individuals fled the area in a silver Pontiac Grand Am. The car stolen last Friday after a knifepoint robbery in Bristol Township was recovered Thrusday in Trenton.
Bristol Township police say they have recovered the 1996 gray Oldsmobile Cutlass that was stolen after a knifepoint robbery last week at a laundromat in the 1600 block of Haines Road. Lt. Terry Hughes said the vehicle was recovered across the Delaware River in Trenton, N.J. on Thursday. Detectives are expected to test the car for prints and search it for evidence, Hughes said. The car was taken by a two people last Friday night after a knifepoint robbery outside a laundromat. No one was hurt, but the victim lost cash, car keys and a cell phone, police said. A woman had her car stolen after she was held up at knifepoint Friday night in a Bristol Township laundromat. According to police, the victim was doing wash at the laundromat in the 1600 block of Haines Road when a slender white woman approached her and asked to borrow her cell phone so she could call for a taxi. The unsuspecting victim offered to dial the number for the woman, who then pulled a paring knife and robbed her. The suspect got away with the phone, $15 in cash and the victim's car keys, Lt. Falls Township Police are investigating two armed robberies that both occurred Friday, Jan. 18 within the same hour. At about 9:03 p.m., a white male wearing a puffy blue jacket entered the Game Stop in the Fairless Hills Shopping Center and ordered everyone to the ground and the point of a black revolver.
