Wrestling Equipment Stolen from Coach's Truck

Equipment from a youth wrestling team was stolen when the coach's car was broken in to over the weekend.

A youth wrestling club is down some equipment after the coach's vehicle was broken in to on Saturday, Jan. 19. Dana Stone, who is the president and head cheerleading coach for the Truman Rams Youth Wrestling and Cheerleading Club, told Patch that sometime between 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18 and 5 a.m. the next morning, someone had broken into her Ford truck and stolen Ram's equipment and other personal items. "An electronic wrestling time clock, wrestling ankle bands and arm bands, two pairs of wrestling shoes and a wrestling medical kit were stolen," she said. Police are just a referral organization, there hands are tied, if you don't have money to hire someone to look into it, you might as well not even call the police.....unless your insurance covers the theft? The poor just get poorer!!!   more ›

The Middletown Township Police Department is investigating a slew of thefts from vehicles that occurred within the past three days.

My daughters car was locked. They smashed the window, stole 3000.00 dollars of electronics. We live on a dead end street. She was moving back home and had had her tv and laptop in her car. My neighbors car was robbed as well as three other people in our neighbprhood. The police would only take a phone report. We can,t easily replace items stolen or fix the car. We are truly on our own.
