Police: $61,000 Worth of Glasses Frames Stolen
Bristol Township police have also dealt with several other crimes. Several burglaries were reported.
Police are looking for whoever stole 750 eyeglass frames from a vehicle parked in Bristol Township. The theft was reported to police Sunday afternoon in the 3500 block of Dixon Avenue. According to police, two large black bags filled with 500 designer pair of prescription glasses and one Tumi-brand piece of luggage containing 250 pairs of Tumi frames was taken from a 2009 Dodge during the overnight hours. Police are unsure of whether the vehicle was locked or unlocked at the time of the theft. Tumi frames are listed on the company's site as often costing more than $250.
