Driver in Route 413 Crash Transferred to UPenn

Traffic investigators are still probing last Friday's wreck at I-95 and Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township.

Police concluded part of their investigation into the minivan and tractor-trailer accident that happened last Friday afternoon at Veterans Highway (Route 413) and I-95. "Investigation showed the minivan, while exiting I-95, disregarded a red traffic signal at a high rate of speed," Bristol Township Sgt. Chuck Burns said. He added that the "minivan then struck the tractor trailer which was attempting to turn from northbound SR 413 onto I-95." Police were still investigating the identity of the minivan driver as of Tuesday evening, Burns said. Conflicting information has lead to delays in that portion of the probe. Serious Injury Reported in Nasty Route 413 Crash

A minivan and a tractor-trailer were involved in a crash that tied up traffic on I-95 and Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township Friday afternoon.

The driver of a gray minivan was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital after his vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer in Bristol Township on Friday. The adult male victim had to be extricated from his van by firefighters and was transported by ground ambulance to the Philadelphia hospital, officials said. Police said he was in serious condition. The tractor-trailer and minivan were turning from I-95 onto Veterans Highway (Route 413) at around 2 p.m. when the collision happened, police traffic Sgt.  Chuck Burns said. The exact cause of the wreck that left vehicle pieces and fluids all over the roadway remains under investigation, Burns said. Report: Crash on 413 Hurts Three

A two-car crash on Veterans Highway in Bristol Township sent multiple people to the hospital Saturday.

A two-vehicle crash brought police, fire and EMS units to the 2900 block of Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township Saturday evening. Firefighters worked to extricate a victim trapped in one of the cars after the crash. Fire police responded to shut down the roadway, Phillyburbs.com reports. Levittown Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle Wreck [Updated]

A 25-year-old man was hurt in a late night two-vehicle crash in Bristol Township. A Bensalem woman was also involved.

  Monday, 9:21 p.m.: The victim of the crash remains hospitalized with serious injuries to the lower half of his body, Sgt. Chuck Burns said Monday night. Burns added that Sunday's crash was the third serious motorcycle crash in Bristol Township in the past month. Monday, 3:35 p.m.: Bristol Township police are investigating an accident between a sedan and a motorcycle that occurred late Sunday night on Veterans Highway at the entrance to Wharton Road. A 25-year-old Levittown man suffered critical injuries after being thrown from his bike and was taken by medical crews to Aria Health Torresdale campus, police said. More Road Construction Inbound For Bristol Township

PennDOT to temporarily close part of New Falls Road next week.

New Falls Road will be closed for an entire day sometime next week for inspection and maintenance Bristol Township Council revealed during an open session Thursday night. According to Council President Rick Pluta, the road closure will occur sometime near the end of next week, most likely Thursday or Friday. In addition to minor roadway maintenance, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation authorities will be inspecting the interstate overpass. Officials said roadway maintenance will have a staggered scheduling to ensure that at least one lane of the road is open at all times. Half of the project will be done early in the morning with a mid-day lane switch to complete the project by late afternoon. The planned construction work will head …

sorry to know that but as we all know 413 is a state high way also newfalls road becouse of different townships it goes threw and pendot takes care of them just like 413 getting redone finally but in your case thats a township road so pendot doesnt care about it take it up with bristol township   more ›
