Bristol Township police took three men into custody on outstanding warrants in the period of 18 hours last week.
In a matter of 18 hours, Bristol Township police took three people into custody for outstanding warrants last week. Douglas Kurth, 23, of Fairless Hills, was the first of the three taken into custody Thursday at 11:28 a.m. The 23-year-old was arrested in the 700 block of Fairbridge Drive in Fairless Hills on an active warrant. Kurth was turned over to the custody of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department, police said. Next, police arrested 20-year-old Levittown resident James Dougherty after officers came into contact with him at Lower Bucks Hospital at 2:23 p.m. Police took the man into custody without incident and turned him over to the Philadelphia Police Department Warrant Unit, authorities said. Bristol Township Police recently made a warrant arrest of a Levittown man.
Bristol Township Police are investigating the following incidents that all occurred Jan. 11, 2013: Theft from Vehicle Sometime overnight person(s) unknown entered a blue Hyundai on the 600 block of Second Avenue, Croydon, and removed a work brief case containing business paperwork as well as $5 in loose change from the ashtray. Theft from Vehicle Sometime overnight, person(s) unknown entered a Ford F-250 P/U on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue, Croydon. The unlocked vehicle was ransacked. Some loose change and insurance papers were taken. Warrant Arrest At about 6:59 a.m., on Oxford Valley Road, Bristol, a 45-year-old Levittown man was arrested on a bench warrant out of Bucks County. Bristol Township Police recently made two warrant arrests and investigated a theft from a vehicle. Warrant On Jan. 7, 2013 at about 10:44 p.m. on the 3000 block of Veterans Hwy. a traffic stop was conducted. As a result of this stop, a 36-year-old female from Levittown was arrested on a Bucks County Sheriff’s warrant. Warrant On Jan. 7, 2013 at about 7:45 a.m. on the 2200 block of New Falls Road in Levittown, officers came into contact with a 30-year-old female from Bristol.
