Levittown Woman Rescued From Cliff At Tyler State Park

Authorities said a 23-year-old Levittown resident was rescued after falling 75 feet down a cliff.

A young Bucks County woman fell from a cliff at Tyler State Park Monday afternoon and had to be pulled 75 feet up a cliff to be rescued. The woman, a 23-year-old Levittown resident, was climbing up a cliff near the Neshaminy Creek dam when she fell and suffered injuries, according to Northampton Fire Chief Adam Selisker. The woman was about a quarter of the way up the cliff when she fell. It is believed she suffered a broken leg, according to park manager Michael Crowley. Multiple witnesses reported that the woman laid on the ground with a portion of bone protruding from the injured leg.
