Car Stolen After Robbery at Laundromat Recovered

The car stolen last Friday after a knifepoint robbery in Bristol Township was recovered Thrusday in Trenton.

Bristol Township police say they have recovered the 1996 gray Oldsmobile Cutlass that was stolen after a knifepoint robbery last week at a laundromat in the 1600 block of Haines Road. Lt. Terry Hughes said the vehicle was recovered across the Delaware River in Trenton, N.J. on Thursday. Detectives are expected to test the car for prints and search it for evidence, Hughes said. The car was taken by a two people last Friday night after a knifepoint robbery outside a laundromat. No one was hurt, but the victim lost cash, car keys and a cell phone, police said. Mario Bianchi, 35, and his fiance Katherine Swaim, 27, both of Falls Township, were booked by local authorities this week for two similar crimes. Hughes said Bristol Township …

Car Stolen After Robbery at Haines Road Laundromat

A request to borrow a cell phone ended with a knifepoint robbery and car theft in Bristol Township.

A woman had her car stolen after she was held up at knifepoint Friday night in a Bristol Township laundromat. According to police, the victim was doing wash at the laundromat in the 1600 block of Haines Road when a slender white woman approached her and asked to borrow her cell phone so she could call for a taxi. The unsuspecting victim offered to dial the number for the woman, who then pulled a paring knife and robbed her.  The suspect got away with the phone, $15 in cash and the victim's car keys, Lt. Terry Hughes said. When the victim looked outside, she saw the suspect get into her 1996 gray Oldsmobile Cutlass with a white male passenger, Hughes said. Investigation Into Tuesday Night Shooting Continues

Police are looking for two suspects that fired four shots in a makeshift apartment on Haines Road. Two bullets struck a man.

The investigation into the Bristol Township shooting that left a 49-year-old man with a bullet to the thigh and ankle continued Wednesday, police said. Lt. Terry Hughes said officers responded to a possible robbery and shooting in a structure behind My Brothers Pub at 1542 Haines Road in Levittown just after 8 p.m. Tuesday. The arriving patrol officers found a 49-year-old white male suffering from two gunshot wounds. The man was taken to St. Mary Medical Center by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and treated, Hughes said. The victim told police that two "younger-looking" black males arrived in two vehicles and shot him. Investigators are not sure if the two men took anything, Hughes said.
