Homeowner Injured in Indian Creek Drive Blaze
A man was hurt late Wednesday night when his house caught fire in Levittown.
Thursday, 4:01 p.m.: Brsitol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said Thursday afternoon that the fire was caused by careless smoking by the resident. The homeowner, who lived alone, remains at St. Mary Medical Center and is being treated for smoke inhalation and burns, Dippolito said. Thursday, 12:51 a.m.: Officials say the man who lives at 300 Indian Creek Drive in the Levittown section of Bristol Township was transported to St. Mary Medical Center after a fire at his house late Wednesday night. The fire was contained to a second floor bedroom of the house and was quickly knocked down by first responders, Levittown Fire Co. 2 Chief Ralph Gumbert said.
