No Evidence of Shooting in Middletown; Several Thefts Reported
Police said a man who claimed to be struck by a bullet was not. Police also reported several other incidents.
Middletown police units responded to East Old Lincoln Highway Tuesday evening after reports of a gunshot victim were received. A police sergeant said the man who reported being shot was examined and no bullet entry or exit wounds were found. The police official said he was not sure whether an incident involved a gun happened. He did add that officers found no evidence of a shot fired at the scene. The sergant said Tuesday night that he had few details he could release.
