Bristol Theatre Is 'Steppin' Out Live With Ben Vereen'

Tony Award winning performer Ben Vereen's one-man show takes place at Bristol Theater this weekend. 

According to Bristol Riverside Theatre's website, Steppin’ Out Live with Ben Vereen is a one man show with a unique blend of artistry and a tribute to Broadway, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis, Jr. featuring hit songs like "Defying Gravity," "My Way," "Mr. Bojangles," and "Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries."

Each performance is filled with song and dance, stories of his life, a great deal of humor and multiple standing ovations.

"The theater was my first training ground. It taught me discipline, dedication and appreciation of hard work and values that will stay with me a lifetime. The stage sharpens the creative instrument and encourages you to go deeper inside and try new things," states Ben on his website.
