Det. Christopher Jones Foundation Donates to House Fire Victims

The organization gave $1,250 to the 10-member Reiling family after a fire destroyed their home last week.

The Detective Christopher Jones Foundation (DCJF) drew from its emergency relief fund on Sunday to assist the Reiling family days after a fire destroyed their home on Hawthorne Lane in the Holly Hill section of Levittown.

Hours after the fire, board members from DCJF submitted a request to the emergency relief committee to assist the parents and eight children of the Reiling family.  The amount of $1,250 was approved and, on Sunday, board members Suzanne Jones and Kellie Fronk delivered the check to the family.

DCJF thanks its volunteers and supporters for making this donation possible, and their continued support.  Tickets are currently available for the foundation's annual memorial banquet, held at the Irish Rover Station House in Langhorne Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. Admission costs $25 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under.
