The incident happened at Randall Avenue in Bristol shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday.

Officials requested Amtrak to suspend operations on the Northeast Corridor due to the proximity of the tracks, according to reports. 

Several crews were able to place the fire under control at about 6:30 p.m., according to reports.

There was no immediate word on what caused the incident or whether there were any injuries.
