Police Say Nearly $6K Worth Of Copper Stolen From Cell Tower

Middletown Township police reported a series of thefts.

Cricket Wireless told police that nearly $6,000 worth of copper was stolen from a cell tower behind the Park Plaza Shopping Center.

Two Echo trimmers were taken from an open trailer parked on Cobalt Ridge Drive South and Cobalt Cross Road sometime between midnight and 7:15 a.m. on Monday. The trimmers are valued at $450.

Someone took a Tom-Tom GPS and change from an unlocked Chrysler, parked on Apple Street, sometime between 7 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday, police reported. The estimated loss is valued at $100. 

A victim reported to police that someone took various household items and approximately $7 in cash from two unlocked vehicles parked on Harmony Road and sometime overnight Sunday into Monday.

A maroon Schwinn mountain bicycle was reported stolen from in front of an apartment at Woodbourne Apartments sometime before 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, police reported. The bicycle is valued at $350.
