Police: Thief Strips Copper From AC Unit, Causes $6K In Damages

Police said a thief damaged a HVAC air conditioning unit and stripped the copper from it, causing approximately $6,000 in damage. It was reported at 9:51 a.m. on April 9 at Crabtree Drive in Levittown. 

Sometime between 10 a.m. 12:33 p.m. on April 9 police said a burglar gained entry to a home on Graceful Lane in Levittown through the front door. It was unknown what was taken. It was reported at 12:42 p.m. on April 9.

According to police, sometime between 10 p.m. on April 8 and 9 a.m. on April 9 a thief took a bicycle, valued at $300, from a home on Bloomsdale Road in Levittown.

Sometime between April 3 and April 5 someone took a Razor Scooter from the side yard at a location on Century Avenue in Bristol. The approximate value of the item was $100. Police said it was reported at 2:14 p.m. on April 9.

Four 20-inch chrome rims, valued at $400, were stolen sometime overnight from a location on Winder Drive in Bristol. Police said it was reported at 1:31 p.m. on April 9. 

At unknown date and time unknown police said a thief removed copper from location on Newportville Road in Levittown. It was reported at 7:21 p.m. on April 9. The approximate value was unknown.

Sometime between 8 p.m. on April 6 and 3 p.m. on April 9 someone removed rings from a purse at a location on Bristol Pike in Croydon. The approximate value of the goods is $1,200. Police said it was reported at 1 p.m. on April 9. 

At an unknown date and time police said a vandal keyed a vehicle parked at Palmer Avenue in Bristol causing approxiamately $50 in damages. It was reported at 6:52 p.m. on April 9. 

A vandal threw a rock at a 2004 Saturn, parked at Aspen Lane in Levittown, shattering the rear window. It happened at an unknown date and time, but police said it was reported at 10:10 p.m. on April 9.
