Teens, Several Others Cited For Area Thefts

Middletown Township police said several people were cited for theft in the area.

Richboro resident Michelle Schumann, 42, was cited for retail theft from Redner’s Warehouse in the Langhorne Square Shopping Center. It happened after $9.08 worth of merchandise was stolen at 5:09 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Langhorne resident 18-year-old Tyler Joseph Scannell was cited for retail theft from Macy’s, Oxford Valley Mall after $36 worth of merchandise was stolen at 5:58 p.m. Friday, police said.

Justin Hemingway, 23, of Langhorne arrested for retail theft from JC Penney, Oxford Valley Mall at 3:07 p.m. Saturday. Police said Hemingway stole $540 worth of merchandise.

Two minors from Yardley, a 14-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy, were cited for retail theft at 7:33 p.m. Saturday after $61.96 worth of merchandise was stolen from Macy’s in Oxford Valley Mall, according to police. 

Police said two 14-year-old boys, one from Levittown and the other from Fairless Hills, were cited for underage drinking and disorderly conducted after a suspicious occurrence at the American Legion Post on 1537 S. Woodbourne Road at 9:38 p.m. Friday.

Police said 19-year-old Brittany Gerwig, of Langhorne, was cited for unauthorized use of motor vehicle. It happened after Gerwig took a 2005 Scion from a parking lot on Sandybrooke Drive at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

Police said someone broke into a home on Roseapple Road sometime between April 19 and April 25 and took cash and change valued at $590.
