Theft From Truck In Langhorne Totals Nearly $3K

Middletown Township police said a theft from a truck and damage totals nearly $3,000.

SEPTA reported to police that someone attempted to pry open a 2011 Ford F-450 stake body truck parked at the construction site at the Langhorne Train Station.

It happened sometime between 3 p.m. Friday and 7:45 a.m. Monday.

The truck’s window was broken out and a snow plow control panel and light bar control was taken, police said. The items are valued at approximately $300.  

Police said a combination overhead light bar and arrow stick that was mounted on the roof of the vehicle was also stolen. That item is valued at $2,000.

The total value of items taken and damage to the vehicle is approximately $2,800, according to police.
