Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect For Bucks County

The National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm watch for Bucks County remains in effect until 4 p.m. Thursday.

A severe thunderstorm warning, issued earlier by NWS, was canceled after thunderstorms weakened and shifted Northeast of the region.

A flood advisory is also in effect for the region until 2:45 p.m.

NWS said rainfall exceeding one inch per hour was reported in some pockets of heavier rain. The agency advised flooded roadways and poor drainage flooding could be expected wherever the heaviest rain happens.
